Preheat your air fryer to 400F (you can also use an oven it just might take longer)
In a bowl, add the torn tempeh, 2 tbsp corn starch, salt and olive oil. Toss to combine and place in the air fryer basket, knock the basket to remove excess corn starch. Air fry for 10 minutes or bake for 20- Depending on your air fryer, it might take a few more minutes. The tempeh is donw when it is crispy.
In a pot, add everything for the orange tempeh sauce except the corn starch + water, and orange zest. Bring to a boil. In a small bowl, combine the corn starch and water. Add that to the orange sauce. It should thicken quickly. Remove from the heat and add the orange zest. Combine the tempeh and the sauce in a bowl.
Serve with rice and top with sesame seeds and green onions and dig in!
