Ingredients
  

  • 8 wooden skewers soaked in water for approx. 30 minutes
  • 1 brick of Henry's Tempeh cut into large chunks
  • 2 cups of mushrooms whole, stems removed & cleaned
  • 2 whole red onions peeled and cut into quarters
  • 1 pineapple peeled and cut into large chunks
  • 1/4 cup of your fav BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp miso paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Green onions for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, add the prepped tempeh, mushrooms, red onions and pineapple. Add the BBQ sauce, miso and olive oil. Mix to combine and let sit 20 minutes.
  2. Heat up the BBQ and as it warms, assemble the kabobs by alternating between ingredients on each skewer.
  3. Brush olive oil onto grill. Cook on all sides until golden brown and slightly charred, around 10-15 minutes. (Optional- baste with leftover sauce from the bowl when they are almost done)
  4. Top with green onions and dig in!
