Sloppy Henry: A Sloppy Joe With a Twist

- 1 package of Henry's Tempeh Seasoned Crumble
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion finely diced
- 4-6 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce or tamari optional
- ½ cup ketchup
- ½ cup water
- 2-4 pickles sliced thin
- 4 buns toasted
Instructions
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium low. Add the onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, until soft.
- Add the tomato paste and stir to combine. Add the Henry's Tempeh and cook for 2-4 minutes.
- Add the mustard, vegan Worcestershire, ketchup and water. Mix to combine. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Cook through until the water is absorbed and the mixture starts to thicken.
- Toast your buns and pile the Sloppy Henrys high! Top with pickles and dig in!
