Quick and Easy Tempeh Croutons

This tempeh crouton recipe is easy to make ahead. You can use tempeh croutons to give a crunchy protein boost to your favourite salads, soups, or bowls (and more). Gluten free, rich in fiber and protein, these vegan tempeh croutons are a nutritious alternative to a classic salad staple.

  • 1 Package Henry's Tempeh Crumble
  • 1 Package Farm Boy Pizza Crust (2 crusts)
  • 1 Jar Farm Boy Pizza Sauce
  • 1 Container Farm Boy Shredded Mozzarella Cheese or Farm Boy Vegan Mozzarella
  • 1 Liter Container Peeled Pineapple
  • 1 Bottle Farm Boy Honey Garlic n' Head BBQ Sauce
  • 1 Container Mustard or Pea Sprouts


  • Instructions
    ·       Preheat oven to 400F
    ·       Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
    ·       Place a pizza crust on each baking sheet
    ·       Cut the pineapple slices into chunks (about ½ container for both pizzas)
    ·       On both pizza crusts:
    ·       Spread on your preferred amount of sauce
    ·       Sprinkle mozzarella cheese/cheeze
    ·       Using your hands, crumble the tempeh crumble over top (1/2 package per pizza)
    ·       Sprinkle chopped pineapple
    ·       Bake at 400F for 16 minutes
    ·       Remove from oven and drizzle BBQ sauce on top
    ·       Top with a few handfuls of sprouts (optional)
