Some promising research from the University of Guelph! “Soy has essential amino acids, protein and is a good source of fiber and calcium. But, it turns out, soy also has the ability to naturally protect people from food-borne illnesses like listeria. A new study from the University of Guelph has found soy can limit the growth of some bacteria, such as listeria and pseudomonas, and it does it better than chemical-based agents.”
